About Abercrombie Family Footprints
I started this tree about seven years ago. All my life I have been
interested in genealogy. As I was growing up, I would always ask older relatives
about the old pictures I came across, and asked them about their lives. I never
pursued the hobby until now.

I don't want this web page to only be about birth and death dates attached to a
person. I find it much more interesting to find out where and how they lived
their lives through family members (including new family members I have met
throughout this journey), newspaper articles, legal documents, etc. It makes it
easier to imagine how and where they lived. It also honors them, and keeps them
closely connected to our hearts and our minds.

I would like to thank Pat Abercrombie for helping me with the Abercrombie line,
and Debbie Austin and Claudia Maples for helping with the gaps and information
on the Rogers line. They have also provided pictures, stories, articles, and
documents,
etc.

Please visit this site often and sign the Guest Book! I update and add new
pictures on a regular basis. If you find any errors, or would like to add any
information or comments to this site, please email me or write it in the Guest
Book.

I love to exchange pictures, etc. If you would like me to email you any
pictures, contact me.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
